You don't even need to colonize in Africa as Japan to be a beast! Eventually, you can even root all the Europeans out of Asia, and unite Asia under the slogan of "Asia is for Asians!" Become the Empire of the Rising Sun, and you will take over all of Asia. And once you westernize, you'll be waves ahead of the rest of Asia. As a result, you can take Korea, Brunei, or even a state off China such as Formosa. Even with infinite amounts of Soldiers, your guns with slaughter the enemy. Once you gain foreign weapons as a reform, you can easily defeat Korea and their ally China. As Japan, you get the Mieji Restoration, which quickens your westernization progress tenfold. Japan is an uncivilized nation, but they're the easiest unciv. Only the Americans will bug you, but they will sphere you. Japan (Easy):You're in an isolated location and no Europeans except Russia will screw with you. When you form Germany when Austria is in your sphere, they'll become part of Germany! Two problems with Prussia:The sphere/influence system is hard to adapt to and colonization can be tricky as most of your emphasis will be on Europe. Added to that, you can from Super Germany by adding Austria to your sphere once they stop being a great power. You have the most advanced military tech in the world, making war with lesser developed nations such as Austria and Russia much easier. You can form Germany by going to war with Denmark, Austria and France. Prussia (Easy):You're in the middle of Europe, which is scary, until you realize that you're the reason why people are afraid of Europe. You can steamroll Mexico, take over the Western Hemisphere, easily build an empire in Africa and Asia, and add several nations into your sphere. USA (Very Easy): What's great about America is that no Europeans except for the British will really attack you, and if by some futile chance that the Brits do attack, your troops can take out their troops in Canada.
